(JollofNews) – The community of Bundung Borehole in the Gambia’s Kanifing Municipality is searching for two toddlers who went missing from their homes in the weekend.

Two-year-old Alasana Asoga Jatta, and Three-year-old Mbombeh Ceesay, were reported missing by their parents on Saturday around 16:00 hrs.

AlasanJatta, father of the missing boy, said his son disappeared from the family compound and he has searched for him everywhere.

“We have reported the matter to Bundung, Serrekunda and Bakoteh police stations,” he said.

“I don’t suspect anyone but I am appealing to the person holding my child to kindly return him back. He is my first child.”

Mbengeh Ceesay, mother of the missing girl,  said she has not slept since her daughter went missing.

“I am in bits and my whole life has been turned apart,” she said.

“I miss my girl and I am begging whoever is holding her to please bring her back to me.”
